I am a die-hard Boricua (native of Puerto Rico), an eldest sister, an opponent of the oxford comma and a lover of learning, in that order. I am also a rising junior at Rice University, studying Mathematical Economic Analysis & Computational Applied Math. This summer, I have been blessed with the opportunity to conduct governance research at RTI International in Kampala, Uganda. Be sure to check out my journal with thoughts on the ethical considerations of working/studying abroad!
